On May, 28 th – 29 th and 31 st, the Institut Imagine in Paris hosted the symposium on pediatric cancers, an event to discuss advances in our understanding of the origins and causes of cancer development and the associated therapeutic perspectives. Bringing together the pediatric cancer community, the symposium addressed several areas of cancer research, including epidemiological and genetic risk factors, the role of development in tumor initiation, modelising the complex biology of tumors development, and novel therapeutic strategies.

The symposium consisted of plenary lectures, accompanied by a poster session and selected oral communications. 
At the end of the symposium, Enfants Cancer Santéour major sponsor of the event presented the prize for the best oral communication of the symposium. Congratulations to Monica Sanchez Guixe!
More than 180 attendees participated to the symposium with 38 speakers and 17 posters presented.
